In accordance with the 5 September 2018 French law on the freedom to choose one’s future career and its 8 January 2019 implementing decree, STERIMED publishes its professional gender equality index.

The index is composed of a primary indicator to measure existing pay gaps and three additional indicators.

For Palalda plant 

Sterimed SAS obtains the maximum number of points for 2 out of the 4 indicators:

  • Gender pay gap: 34 points out of 40
  • Gender individual raise gap: 35 points out of 35
  • Percentage of employees receiving a raise after returning from maternity leave:  15 points out of 15
  • Gender distribution among the 10 highest paid: 0 points out of 10.

As of March 1, 2026, the professional equality index of STERIMED Palalda stands at 84 points out of 100.

Pay Gap Indicator Objective

The company is committed to promoting pay equality between women and men from the time of hiring and ensuring equal pay for equivalent skills and experience – target: 36/40.

Top Ten Highest Salaries Indicator Objective

The company is committed to ensuring equal treatment regarding the highest salaries, both in recruitment and internal promotion. Target: 2 women / 8 men

SPS MEDICAL obtains the maximum amount of points for 1 out of the 4 indicators:

  • Gender pay gap: 36 points out of 40
    2025 improvement target: 35 points out of 40
  • Gap in individual raises between women and men: 35 points out of 35
  • Percentage of employees receiving a raise after returning from maternity leave: 15 points out of 15
  • Gender distribution among the 10 highest paid: 5 points out of 10.

As of March 1, 2026, the SPS MEDICAL professional equality index stands at 91 points out of 100.
