With 1,500 employees and 14 factories across 3 continents, STERIMED is the world's leading manufacturer of materials and packaging systems for the sterilization of medical devices. Sterimed develops, produces, processes, and markets various types of solutions such as bacterial barrier substrates and preformed sterilization packaging, both for hospitals and medical device manufacturers.

As an LBO, Sterimed stands out with a strong entrepreneurial DNA and has been pursuing a very dynamic external growth policy for several years. Since its founding in 2016, the size of the group has increased 4.5 times, and 10 acquisitions have been made since 2017.

The Palalda site, a paper mill with 250 employees, is a strategic link in the group's value chain. It produces porous materials essential for the manufacture of sterilization packaging.
