Ethypel Classic GP 62 gsm is made of a 60 gsm cellulosic base sheeting with a 2 gsm solvent free coating. It has been designed to provide a strong and stable sealing performance accross a large temperature and dwell time window ensuring a consistent and excellent aseptic opening (T-peel opening angle) including a soft peel effect when combined to films made of a PE sealing layer (PA/PE; PP/PE; PET/PE; etc).
The grid patterned coating associated to the cellulose base web of Ethypel Classic GP 62 gsm makes it a highly beathable solution made of over 90% of renewable resources, and allowing a superior efficiency for the EO sterilization processes.
Application:
Ethypel Classic GP 62 gsm is a versatile solution for both flexible formable and flexible non formable packs, made on Form Fill Seal (FFS), Four Side Seal (4SS) or platen sealing packaging lines, even at higher processing speeds. Ethypel Classic GP 62 gsm is designed to pack medical devices requiring a superior sealing performance associated to an excellent aseptic opening (T-Peel opening angle) without any fiber delamination, and on a wide operating window: small to large medical devices packed in flexible formable solutions such as sutures, IV sets and syringes, and small to medium medical devices in flexible non formable packs such as advanced and wound care, gauze, etc.
